  • What do you believe?

    • The Lutheran Church is a liturgical church. Lutherans believe that the gospel is not only the good news that Jesus has saved sinners, but also a power God uses to create and to strengthen faith in Jesus. Lutheran worship places the gospel in central focus in an order of service called the liturgy. In message and meal (Holy Communion), in specially selected Bible readings, and in carefully crafted songs, prayers, and confessions, used historically by the Church, the liturgy points to Jesus as the Savior of all.

What do I do with my kids?

    • If you have restless little ones and feel they need a break, please feel welcome to use the nursery just outside the sanctuary.

    What about the Lord’s Supper?

    • The Lord’s Supper (also called “Holy Communion”) is regularly celebrated on the first and third Sundays of each month.

    • This special meal is an expression of unity, agreement, and spiritual intimacy between the people who have committed themselves to membership in this church.

    • We ask guests and visitors to speak with our Pastor before participating in the Lord’s Supper.

    What about offerings?

    • No offering is formally taken during the service, but an offering box is available for those wishing to support the difference we’re making in people’s lives.

Are you a part of a larger church body?

    • Yes! The WELS (Wisconsin Evangelical Lutheran Synod) is a group of more than 360,000 men, women, and children in nearly 1,300 congregations across the globe united by a common faith in Christ’s saving love. We are committed to a common calling - encouraging each other in our faith and sharing God’s gift of a Savior with the rest of the world.

Pastor

Meet Pastor Aaron Boehm

I was born and raised in Michigan, but don’t hold that against me – I still think of it fondly and consider the U of M to be my college team. I attended high school at MLS (Michigan Lutheran Seminary), one of the two preparatory schools in our church body that encourages and equips future pastors and/or teachers. Then I continued on that path by attending MLC (Martin Luther College), our college that serves the same purpose. There I met Gena, who would eventually, despite many warnings and discouragement from others, become my wife. We were married while I attended WLS (Wisconsin Lutheran Seminary), our seminary which serves as the final leg of our 12-year process of training pastors in the WELS (Wisconsin Evangelical Lutheran Synod), our church body.

Gena and I have four children – Priscilla, Aiden, Neleh, and Garrett. When we have free time, we enjoy ignoring our children while updating our Facebook status or sending out a tweet. When that doesn’t happen, you might find us playing Legos, running back and forth between various sports practices/games, or on a hot date at Beef & Bun. I enjoy tinkering with technology, reading – books both with and without pictures, and may occasionally be found at a local Starbucks. I also play indoor soccer in the evenings when I’m free, or at least run around on the field and pretend like I do.
